Consumer Terms of Service

Effective February 2, 2026. Welcome to Sociant. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Accounts

To use Sociant, you must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

2. Services and Assistants

Sociant provides an interface to manage AI Assistants. You can configure skills, link external accounts, and interact with your Assistant. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

  • Linking Accounts: You decide which external accounts to link. You are responsible for the data shared between those services and Sociant.
  • Skills: Skills are provided to enhance your Assistant's functionality. Use of skills must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

We offer different membership tiers: Free, Basic, and Premium.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Payments are processed via Stripe.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds: Except as required by law, payments are non-refundable.

4. Use of the Services

You must use our services in compliance with all applicable laws and our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our platform.
  • Access the Services through automated or non-human means (e.g., bots, scripts, or crawlers).
  • Use the Services to develop competing AI products.
  • Bypass any technical limitations or security measures.

5. Inputs and Outputs

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of the Inputs you provide. To the extent permitted by law, you own the Outputs generated by your Assistant.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your Inputs and the use of any Outputs. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or inappropriate; always verify important information.

6. Limitation of Liability

Sociant is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sociant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. You may stop using the services at any time.
